FAQs

  • The mind, body and spirit form an integrated approach to overall well-being with each one influencing the other. Imbalance in one area can affect another so my approach is to meet clients where they are in life and support their growth by helping them nurture all three. My sessions are an open hearted and honest exploration of all aspects of my clients. This type of coaching is unique as it empowers people to achieve balance in their mind, body and spirit and take responsibility for their own happiness and well-being.

  • No, sorry! Coaching is about guiding and supporting clients towards their goals and helping them find their own solutions. I believe that we have all the answers we need inside of us, sometimes we just need a little guidance on how to access our real, true, authentic selves and the answers we are looking for and I will introduce you to techniques and tools to help you discover these answers. It is so empowering to realise that we can make the changes we need to in order to reach a goal, sometimes it is as simple as changing our mindset.

  • I integrate ancient wisdom from Ayurveda and other holistic practices into sessions but each session is personalised for each client, with you always in control—I'm there to guide and support you in your exploration. This type of coaching is different from traditional coaching because it may include:

    * guided visualisations

    * grounding meditations to connect with yourself

    * the introduction of mantras

    * pranayama (breathing exercises)

    * rituals and energy healing (for those who might want to go a bit deeper into spiritual work)

  • Therapists tend to focus on healing clients from emotional trauma and pain whereas a coach might spend some time processing pain and difficulty but will invite clients to shift their focus to their intentions, purpose and vision in order to move toward future goals by anchoring a client into the present moment.

    Therapists focus on “why” certain behavioural patterns occur and coaches work on “how” to work toward a goal.

  • All my coaching sessions are personalised so it will depend on you. Some clients might only need a couple of sessions to lift their vibration and get back on track. To start, I recommend my 10 session package so we can fully explore your purpose, intentions, limiting beliefs and shadow but as each client is different, there really isn’t a one size fits all approach.

  • Absolutely! I feel that no connection between coach and client is lost doing sessions online. In fact, clients often feel more comfortable knowing they are connecting from their own spaces and feel that they can be more open when in their own environment.

  • Each session will be tailored to your unique needs and goals. We'll begin with a check-in and grounding exercise, creating a space for focused exploration. I'll then ask what you'd like to prioritise for that session, incorporating tools as needed to guide your self-discovery. Much of the work will take place between sessions; after all you're the expert in your own life and responsible for your happiness and growth but having someone to support you on your journey can be invaluable. I will help you uncover your answers, devise plans, and take pride in your progress and celebrate your results.

    • inner work using tools that will help you understand yourself and help bring you from where you are to where you want to be

    • limiting beliefs and your shadow (the parts of yourself that might be tricky to acknowledge) and how they might be stopping you from coming into your light

    • your dharma - your true soul purpose - and how to incorporate it into your daily life

    • intentions, goals and actions based on your well-being vision

    • how you might shift perspectives and change your mindset which will help remove obstacles in order for you to feel free

    • how to recognise, embody and process emotions

    • lifestyle changes that can improve all aspects of your life

  • Both as a practitioner and a recipient I have seen amazing results from reiki, which is a technique that channels universal life energy to promote healing and balance in the mind, body and spirit. Often used as a complementary approach to conventional medical treatment, one of the things I love most about this energy is that it accelerates our body’s natural ability to heal itself. I have been attuned to reiki levels 1 and 2 and when I am giving a treatment I channel this life force energy through my hands, allowing it to flow to the areas within my client's energy field where it is most needed. Reiki is used to relax, reduce stress, balance chakras and to help release suppressed emotions and ease pain, which is why I have found it particularly effective to use after a coaching session where a client has already opened themselves up to healing.

    If you would like to learn more about chakras you can try the meditation here.

  • I am qualified to teach Ayurvedic Lifestyle, as a Certified Chopra Ayurvedic Health Instructor, which means I can teach you how to use your senses to balance and heal, be free from your emotions dictating your reactions as well as how to use meditation and pranayama to reduce anxiety and stress. I can also work with clients on how to design a daily routine that works for you in order to move closer to your wellness vision.

    Teaching and coaching are very different. I will only include these topics with the client's permission if they express interest and it feels appropriate during a coaching session.

  • Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old healing system that originated in ancient India based on the laws of nature. This system is a consciousness-based approach to health and healing, and its purpose is to help us return to our natural state of health, balance and wholeness as it addresses all areas of wellbeing; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

    Stress has been labelled the "health epidemic of the 21st century" by the World Health Organisation, and it's argued that Ayurveda serves as an antidote to stress. Practices such as movement, meditation, breathwork, restful sleep, and emotional regulation promote a slowdown of the stress response and activate the parasympathetic nervous system - these are all fundamental aspects of Ayurveda.
